Spider-Man Swings Back Into Action: Tom Holland Set to Return in Upcoming Marvel Film
Get ready for the return of Tom Holland as Spiderman in live Action this year as reports are coming in that, yes, Tom Holland Spiderman will be making an appearance in the upcoming across the Spiderverse.
So we know that Sony decided to delay across the Spiderverse multiple times at this point to give it more time in post-production, to be able to work more things in, and to even split the film. And of course, just make it something a little bit bigger and try to even expand the universe further with what they’re going to be showing in the upcoming film.

Very early on, Sony made it very well known and established that, yes, it’s true, we wanted Tom Holland and the other two live-action Spiderman in the first film, but we decided to hold a ban. Now we’re hearing that Tom Holland will be appearing in across the Spiderverse and that one of the reasons for the delay of the film was to get him in there because this was all involved with the contract renegotiations and what they were going for, which honestly makes a whole lot of sense to me.
Again, the initial report came from industry insider Jeff Snyder, but this took on a bigger life of its own, with other people saying it’s true. They’ve heard about it, that they’re confirming it, that this has been something that they’ve worked on for a while, and they’re saving it as a surprise, and they don’t want it spoiled in TV spots or trailers or anything, which is exactly how you should go about it.
And I think it will be really interesting. My guess would be is that this is going to be a small thing. I’m not suspecting what some people are already out there expecting, that that’s going to be like, hey, Tom Holland appears and he helps Miles Morales and the other Peter Parkers,

and he’s in it for ten minutes. I’m expecting Miles Morales and maybe one of the other animated Peters are going to go to one of the multiverses. They just end up in Peters apartment at the end of no Way Home, and he’s kind of like, Wait, what? And they all have an exchange and then they go away and he’s like, that was interesting. Okay. And then he just goes on on his own day, right? That type of thing.
I honestly do not want you guys to expect some sort
of giant supporting role, because that’s not going to happen. I don’t think they want to take away from the film by putting that in it. And I don’t think it’s fair to do that to Tom Holland and just shove them in there for a glorified extended role that overshadows anybody,
right? It doesn’t make sense. So, by all accounts, Tom Holland will be appearing in the film this year.
