Toby and Andrew Spider-Men Return in Upcoming MCU Movie
Sony’s Spiderverse is going to rapidly continue to grow by the sounds of it, as not only Tom Holland Spiderman will be appearing alongside Marvel Spiderman by Insomniac,
as brand new reports are saying Toby McGuire Spiderman and Andrew Garfield will both also be making appearances as princes.
So as of right now, we don’t exactly know the full details in regard to which film they would be appearing in.
Some people are saying it’s going to be Spiderman across the Spiderverse, and some people are saying it’s going to be Spiderman Beyond the Spiderverse, which is coming at us in 2024.
Now, of course, beyond the Spiderverse is supposed to be even bigger in terms of concepts, ideas, and characters.
So if they really want to spread their wings and go insane, possibly even bringing the live-action iterations by then, I think Sony’s own internal R and D can be up to Snuff to make it seem like it works.
And it’s not really out of place and maybe not as somewhat as wonky as what we saw in Space Jam and Space Jam Two
. I would definitely say more Space Jam Two on that one. But again, we know that Sony’s expressed interest in bringing in Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire again. And we know that as far back as the first Spiderverse, they were already talking about the idea of bringing both
of them in. But Sony told them, to save it for the future. They didn’t want to blow their load, if you will, in the first film. And it makes sense.
So if you really look at what they’re saying is going to happen, you have Spiderverse Two, that’s Tom Holland Spiderman, and then Insomniac Spiderman, and then you have Spiderverse Three Beyond the Spiderverse.
That more than likely brings back both of those, but also Peter and Andrew. So you can see how they’re setting up a major giant crossover that more than likely for them, they’re hoping is a big billion-dollar box office hit, if not more with an animated film.

And Sony is betting big on the Spiderverse films. We know the merchandise is there. Again, they don’t get a major cut of it because that’s Disney,
but making friends with Disney and getting those other companion TV series out and everything, that’s also where some of their strengths and hopes are lying in as well. So this to me sounds like it’s more or less going to happen because as far
as we know, everybody involved with the last Spiderman film where all three live action Spiderman hung out. Everybody left on good terms there.
So hopefully now the future is bright and we could see these characters return multiple times, starting with beyond the Spiderverse and then who knows what else. Probably Secret Wars by then.
