Rosario Dawson asks Disney And for MCU Return
There is a lot of excitement among fans for the return of Daredevil with the upcoming Daredevil Born Again, but it looks like there’s also a lot of buzz with stars of the previous iteration of the character on Net.
So let’s talk about Rosario Dawson, aka Claire. So I think it’s safe to say that the best way we can really describe Claire in the Netflix show is essentially the Netflix version of Nick Fury, right?
Like she served that purpose, where she connected the characters and would meet them first, and then she would go, hey, I have a buddy. This person can help you with what the problem is
. And then she would go on over and bring in a character from the other series, sometimes a supporting character, sometimes a main character.
So recently, speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, she was asked about her experience working with Disney so far.
Now, obviously, she is playing Asoka in the upcoming series, so she already works with Disney. Again, just like how she works with them on the Marvel Netflix shows because those were made by Disney ABC. So she said that when it comes to the revival of Daredevil,
she’s excited because this means that more of that world can be brought in. And as of now, she’s heard nothing. But she really wants to come back.
She says it’s 18 episodes of Daredevil and she says,
I’m there. Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, they know that she’s ready and she’s willing to do it. So she’s just stoked for everybody that could potentially be coming back. And if they can fit her in, she wants to do it now. Again,
there was supposed to be, in the early days, some sort of connection between Claire and the character Night Nurse, and we thought that was going to be an inevitable reveal that was going to happen
. And that wasn’t really the direction they went in because there were things happening with Marvel TV at the time versus Marvel Studios that kind of prevented that whole thing. We’ve covered that.
So maybe if they get her back, they can now go down that route and actually make her a version of Night Nurse, like set for the MCU.
So, all in all, I think we can all agree that we would like to see Claire back, as many of the old cast that can come back and that they want back should be back, right? To make it all feel canon
and worthwhile, even iron Fist. I know some people didn’t like Finn Jones. I’ve talked about it before. Having met him, having talked to him,
having seen how big of a fan he is of Marvel and all that, I think everybody should behttp://amarjeet.us brought back and given a proper chance. So we need to start with Claire and then she can be the through line of going, hey, let me go search out another defender. I’m cool with that.
