Patrick Stewart Confirms Marvel Studios Return
Ever since he showed up in the MCU, in Doctor Strange, in the Multiverse of Madness, people have been speculating what exactly is going to happen with Patrick Stewart’s. Professor X, as it was previously teased that we could see him back. Now, Patrick himself says that he’s on standby. Marvel Studios has told him to be ready.

So again, this comes at us directly from Patrick Stewart, and he’s been making the rounds, talking pretty much anywhere and everywhere in regards to everything that’s going on in his career. Obviously, the big thing right now is Picard season three, speaking with Comic Book and about upcoming projects. He said that he’s not allowed to talk about anything that’s currently going on, even if he knows details.

And much of what he doesn’t know, he doesn’t want to speculate on. But when they brought up Deadpool Three and other upcoming Marvel projects like Secret Wars, he said, and I quote, I’ve been told to stand by. I know nothing more than that. Honest. End quote. So he’s not the first actor to say this. Multiple actors in the past. Paul Betty is the one that always comes to mind to me, because he said it in multiple interviews.
Marvel Studios calls you and says, hey, we’re going to need you. We’re not telling you what for. Clear off this three week period or this six week period or 18 weeks,
and you have no idea what you’re being called in for or if they’re going to scale it back or anything. You just clear your schedule because that’s contractually what you’re obligated to. What he’s saying here is nothing new. He’s been told to stand by because something is going to happen, but again, he doesn’t say what or where.

More than likely, most people, if we just kind of use deduction right, just kind of use the process of elimination, we go, okay, it’s Deadpool Three. It makes sense why he would appear in that, but who knows what else? We’ve heard rumors about him possibly showing up in other multiverse projects or possibly even Dr. Strange Three being given a quick turnaround time, and there’s been some rumors it might happen this year, it might not. We don’t know.

But it looks like he is on standby, so we’re going to be seeing him soon somewhere else. Who knows how big of a role? Who knows how important? But it’s happening because he confirmed it.
