New Black Panther with Tshirt teased that Black Panther Three was an early active development
Previously, our new Black Panther with T-shirt teased that Black Panther Three was an early active development. And that was sort of just floated out there to kind of I don’t know, I guess get people to see the sequel. Either way, though, let’s talk about Black Panther Three with a more concrete update, I guess.

So this comes at us from Variety, who interviewed Leticia Wright in regard to the future of Black Panther and what exactly Marvel Studios has in store for her character going forward. And she reiterated this time with a little bit more confidence, that it’s already in the works and that they just had a terrific two years working on the previous film, aka.
Black Panther Wakanda forever. And that the entire team seems to be back on board and wants to continue the legacy of the Black Panther. And this time, bring the sequel around quicker than the first one. Now, obviously, the circumstances in regard to the sequel’s release here were all sorts of problems. Let’s be real. One, the passing of the lead actor
. Two, a pandemic. Three, a giant stack of slate that you had to delay and slowly release. And the film got shuffled around quite a lot. And again, there were injuries on set and everything. So things just kept delaying it for, you know, one reason or another. But now, at least according to her own words, everybody’s ready. And she just needs to, as she said, regroup with Ryan Kugler and get back to the lab and start working on whatever the story has next.

And she believes that that’s going to happen quickly this time around. Now, let’s be real. The film made bank. They’re not going to abandon it. So whether we get the sequel two years from now, three years from now, or four, it’s going to happen because they can’t abandon it. It’s a huge piece of the MCU. And they’re also expanding the world with that giant overall deal that cougar signed.
So there’s no way they’re abandoning this world or Black Panther at all, considering that the franchise is literally, like, at the center of all these spinoffs that they’re developing. So you can’t have Black Panther spin-offs if you don’t have a Black Panther for them to hinge on. It just kind of works that way.
