Marvel Studios developing multiple R-rated shows for Disney+
Well, guys, according to insiders, the start of Marvel Studios and the R-rated content is going to be a gradual rollout that we see over the next couple of years, starting with Deadpool Three. And it’s only going to increase as allegedly Marvel Studios is currently developing multiple R-rated projects for Disney Plus. This includes films and TV.
So let me get this right. Marvel Studio’s own CEO and the guy running Disney, Bob Chapek, both said that more R-rated content would be coming to Disney Plus. And suddenly insiders have the inside scoop that Marvel Studios is working on R-rated content.
We’ve known this for years. Deadpool Three. The first thing they announced when they announced that they were acquiring Fox is Deadpool Three, also R-rated. And also we’re going to be putting more adult content. Then they started doing age-gating stuff.
And then obviously R rated content was confirmed by Bob Chapek. So insiders coming out and saying, oh yeah, multiple things are in development. Films that are R-rated will be on Disney Plus, and they’re also developing R-rated Disney Plus shows isn’t really surprising.

It’s just kind of a foregone conclusion because they’re not going to separate Marvel Studios content, whether it’s R-rated or not, somewhere outside of Disney Plus. They’re eventually hoping that Disney Plus can just become
the only place for everything Disney that you don’t even need. Hulu some parts of the world, that’s already the case. It’s just kind of there in a different tab.
So it’s really not surprising that we’re hearing that they’re going to go in this direction and this is the plan, because that’s always got to have been the plan, especially when you’re looking at so many properties that honestly belong with R-rated branding.
And who knows what they have plans for down the road, especially when it comes to Marvel content and Marvel characters because there are so many.
I mean, hypothetically, if they announce a new Punisher series or whatever, right? Or a special, wouldn’t it make sense that you make that R-rated and give the fans what they want? I mean, that makes sense, right? Do you guys see what I’m saying? So, yeah.
R-rated content. R-rated Disney plus Marvel. Marvel shows. It’s got to be in consideration, if not already locked in. We just don’t know about it. So what do you guys think will be
the first R-rated Marvel TV series on Disney Plus? Pick anything. It could literally be anything that’s more adult-oriented. Maybe x force. That would be kind of fun.
