Jonathan Majors Unleashes Kang’s Grand Plan for the MCU: Avengers 5, Secret Wars, and More
You guys remember how little hype there was from the man that played Thanos when it came to interviews and hyping up upcoming projects? Josh Brown wasn’t really doing all the press rounds. Hyping up everything that’s going to happen with Thanos.
On the other side of this, we have Jonathan majors, who actually can’t pay him to be quiet because he’s so hyped about everything that he’s just excited to tease what he knows and what could potentially be happening next in multiple upcoming projects.
So this comes at us from a brand new interview that Jonathan majors did with Total Film. So the one thing that he reveals is that obviously Kang isn’t forever, and that shouldn’t surprise anybody. That’s not a spoiler.
Just like Thanos, Ultron, and every other villain, he’s going to be defeated. And he says that right now, all the projects he has on his plate, it’s to evolve his character, to be truly dominating, and to set the bar so high in all the upcoming sequels and things he can’t talk about, that the bar is truly set so high that whoever is next has huge shoes to fill.
He also reveals that one of the reasons he feels like he has to be the best so far and set the bar so high is because he figured they would never reach out to me. He couldn’t believe that he was actually approached for this role.
And he says that that’s what drives his performances, whether it’s loki other upcoming undisclosed appearances, the kang dynasty, what we get in Quantum mania, and beyond that, this is truly
something that’s going to evolve over time. And he says that there’s going to be some huge ambitions when we get to avengers Five that for spoiler reasons he can’t talk about, will completely blow people away. And he hopes that people understand what they’re going for here.
And again, if we look at what they’ve done so far, there are quite a few things that they’ve already established that are so big in the MCU that they go over some people’s heads, right? Like the whole theory of the multiverse and everything. Again, they’re trying to simplify for everybody, but unless you’re a hardcore sci-fi fan, it can go over your head.
And from what he’s teasing, these plans and the way they handle it is just going to get bigger, which, honestly, I’m excited for because you really don’t need or want to simplify the multiverse. So the crazier you go, the more you can introduce people to these crazy concepts and just make it part of everyday conversations. I mean, that’s what Marvel has done with the
mcu. So that’s kind of like the goal, I guess, and the ambition behind it. Make Hang the central point of tons of new and complex things and see how it’s received.
