Is Green Lantern a DCEU movie?
DC’s very own Adam Smasher, who made his smashing, debuted in Black. Adam talks a little bit about getting his own franchise off the ground and who he would love to see alongside him in a standalone Atom Smasher film if and when it happens.
And he says Ryan Reynold as Green will enter, that’s never going to happen. I mean the Atom smasher movie.
Look, no disrespect to the actor of playing Adam Smasher, noah Centennio. Hopefully I said his last name right again. I defended him when he was cast as He Man.
Back then, a lot of people gave me crap because they were like, oh, he’s not buffing up. He can’t put it on the muscle.

But nonetheless, he ended up leaving that role to become Adam Smasher. And recently he was in an interview with Cinnapop and they asked him about the idea of expanding on the role of Adam Smasher.
And he said, well, when it gets to that point where he hopes that he gets an Adam Smasher standalone film, he hopes that they could make it somehow work within the multiverse and bring in Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern because of the comedic nature and all that. OOH. Look,
Adam Smasher kind of fell flat for me in the film.
Nothing against the actor, but I thought how they tried to play the character up as this comedic relief of sorts among all these brooding ish characters just didn’t work for me.
And I thought some of the line delivery was bad and just being even more honest. If they’re going to cancel a batgirl film, there’s no way anybody with the right train of thought is going to greenlight a Atom Smasher movie,
especially if Black Adam could barely open with less than it didn’t even hit 70 million. It hit like, what, 60, 67, 68? Can’t remember. It’s been a bit. But there’s no way Adam Smasher gets a film.
And bringing in Ryan Reynolds to reprise Green Lantern. OOH, that’s even a man. That might be even a further stretch than an Adam Smasher movie. I’ll be right with you. So, yeah, look, I’m convinced it’s never going to happen. Adam Smasher maybe on HBO could have work. Maybe. But again, if Peacemaker didn’t take off and that had John Cena in it, it’s going to be rough.
