Hugh Jackman Spills Details on Disney Plans for Wolverine in the MCU
Wolverine himself. Hugh jackman has revealed a few details in regards to just how Marvel Studios and Disney will be handling wolverine in his debut, aka Deadpool Three, and maybe whatever comes beyond Deadpool Three if he sticks around.
So this comes at us from an interview with P Entertainment, where wolverine star Hugh jackman was teasing what comes next in regards to Wolverine. First, and most specifically, he wanted to talk about the fact that he’s eating a lot and working out a lot because he’s got to get back into wolverine shape. And then he revealed that he’s seen a little bit of the script and he knows a couple of details.
Now, while he can’t go into spoiler territory because obviously papa Kevin and the sniper, they insinuated during the interview that he could be kinder and more gentle because of Disney. And the actor replied, well, maybe he’s going to be angrier, acerbic, and grumpy.
Now, in case you’re missing what he’s saying, he’s talking about a wolverine who’s not so into Deadpool’s nonsense, who’s a little bit more, oh, my God, really? With this and more of a, come on, man, don’t do this all the time. Like he’s going to be a little bit more forthright and a little bit more, let’s cut straight to the point, please don’t waste my time.
And, you know, that makes sense. It’s Logan, one of the more serious characters dealing with Deadpool, one of the goofiest, most nonsensical characters in Marvel comics. So it makes sense that there’s going to be a clash of styles, which, again, makes sense because that’s their relationship dynamic in the comics.
And he did say that there’s going to be a lot of shots he takes at Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool in this and that physically, he’s also going to be one of the angriest wolverines we’ve seen. So sounds good to me, honestly. I got nothing to complain about. I just hope he wears that suit, which I think is a given. They’ll probably make fun of it as well. But it will be all in good fun.
