Harrison Ford lies about his involvement with Captain America
Harrison Ford lies about his involvement with Captain America for aka Captain America New World Order, or at least that’s what everybody is saying. But if track record and history is anything to go by, harrison Ford literally doesn’t know anything. He’s probably more confused as to what he’s actually involved with than he knows. And he’s telling the truth.
So this comes at us directly from The Late Show with Stefan Colbert, where Harrison Ford was on deck talking about upcoming projects. Of course, Indiana Jones was brought up because obviously that’s his big project this year, among a few other things.

Obviously TV stuff he’s involved with. Nonetheless, though, they bring up Captain America Four and Harrison Ford says he’s going to tell the truth in regards to anything he’s asked. So then they proceed to ask him questions and he replies with, I don’t know.
I don’t know. I’m not sure. I can’t tell you that because I don’t know. I’m not sure. What’s that? I don’t know. So this goes on for a while and then they just start making stuff up and he starts talking about random things that aren’t in the film, which I’m not even going to talk about because some people are saying he’s dropping hints. He’s definitely not dropping hints that we’re going to see Thunderbolt Ross at the disco.

Now let’s get to the fact that he’s lying and why he’s lying, because he doesn’t know and he doesn’t care. Remember all the interviews for Star Wars? Pick any Star Wars he was involved with. When they asked him something, he’d go, I’m not sure. They’d be like, oh, so does your character use the lightsaber?
He’d like, what’s a lightsaber? OK. Does your character use force or meet yoda? One, what’s a lightsaber? Two, does he use a Yoda? What’s a yoda? Again, Harrison Ford doesn’t care. We know that he’s one of those actors that takes the role. He goes into it almost not knowing anything.
He does his job and when it’s done, that’s pretty much it for him. And honestly, yeah, he’s telling the truth. So I actually appreciate that he’s lying and doesn’t care about any of this, or not lying intentionally, but literally telling you that he doesn’t know because he doesn’t care.

And honestly, that’s quite awesome. It’s refreshing to see Harrison Ford has not changed, really, ever since Return of the Jedi, I think is really it and hope he never does. It’s going to be hilarious when he’s doing a press round next year and they ask him and he just straight-up lies about it when they show him the trailer because he will probably have forgotten that he’s actually in the thing.
