BREAKING Jonathan Majors Fired: Jonathan Majors was officially dropped by his agency
It was less than 24 hours ago that we learned that Jonathan Majors was officially dropped by his agency. He was already dropped by multiple ad campaigns, including the American Army One. And just recently, he lost already one film role.
And just now we learned that he lost the second role he had lined up, which was to star in The Man in the Basement. You it. So the United States commercials were the first to officially cut Jonathan Majors out. They just stopped showing the ads he was in that were pre-rolling before, like YouTube videos and on TV. And quickly after that, it took a couple of days.

We learned that the actor lost one role, but it was a smaller one and we didn’t really have all the details and it was never really confirmed. It was just kind of like out there. We heard that they were now moving past him and they weren’t going to keep him. Now that he’s been dropped by his agency, things are starting to kind of escalate really quickly.
So we learned that he was officially dropped for the ad campaign by the Texas Rangers, the MLB team. For those of you that aren’t in the United States, that’s Major League Baseball. And the latest is the fact that he was going to be starring in the Walter Mosley novel, The Man in the Basement, which was supposed to be this big deal, but now they have officially dropped him and will be looking for another actor.

Now, what’s more, important about this one is that he was also set to executive produce and was going to be using his production banner, aka Tall Street Productions. It was going to be a partnership. So quite obviously, they want nothing to do with anything that has him involved.
Now, there’s even more to this, which I’ll just add. So he was also to work on the fifth season project on a title, Otis, and Zelma. Now, they were just about to close this deal, and the deal has officially been pulled and he will not be a part of that project according to the deadline. So it does look like agencies and pretty much everybody in
Hollywood is trying to distance itself. And again, it’s going to be hard for him to secure a new agent unless somebody’s willing to gamble before more things come out or we learn even more details on why he was dropped by his agency.

I mean, it’s a very tightrope they’re walking with this whole situation. And the more we keep seeing develop and the more stories we get like this, the easier it is to see how Disney and Marvel Studios might react sooner rather than later because there will be pressure on them. There’s always pressure on Disney to do the thing right that everybody wants them to.
And we’ve seen how if they don’t, that can sometimes backfire on them in a very public spotlight. So I guess we’re just going to wait and see. I’ll keep you guys updated, but it’s not looking good.
