After making some controversial comments in regard to Doctor Strange
After making some controversial comments in regards to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and her onset work, Elizabeth Olsen wants to clarify what she said because some people really went after her and hated her for her comments.
So what controversial thing did Elizabeth Olsen say that sent people into a frenzy? Well, if you guys remember, it wasn’t too long ago where she revealed she never met Mr. Fantastic, aka John Krasinski. She said she didn’t know him.
She didn’t even know he was in the film. She was shocked when she saw him. And a lot of people took this as disrespect because they must have seen each other and they must have met because they were in the same scene.
Again, I failed to see how these experts on Twitter don’t know that film literally isn’t shot sequentially. And you don’t shoot everything at the same time.

You can literally shoot the beginning of a film right when you start production, and then the ending the next day, and then the middle literally at the end of the shoot because films aren’t shot sequentially usually, right? But yeah, a lot of cinephiles got mad at her.
So she sat down with Variety again, and she was asked about this because of the blowback. And well, she was literally on a
lie detector test when she said she never met him. So she says, look, during that time, she was confused. She was feeling terrible.
She was also sick. She barely remembers that time because of the fact that she was sick for close to 14 days and it was unrelated to the pandemic and everything. And she says that truthfully, they did shoot their scenes separately.
They were never together. It was the movie magic and mixing that makes it seem like they’re in the same room. And she once again said she really didn’t know what was going on in that sequence because she didn’t know what the end sequence would look like because she was told to do her part. And she’s going to be fighting some people.
But again, she had no idea who she was fighting when they shot those. Now, from the standpoint of when they started shooting that, we understand that they shot that sequence early on. During that time, they were still deciding what characters were actually going to be in the film. So it makes sense that
they told her and it’s going to be somebody. We just don’t know who. So just hold up your hand and whatever happens, happens. He got turned into spaghetti. It could have been boulder to brave getting crushed by a boulder.
You guys get what I’m saying? Like film, it’s literally shot out of order 99.9% of the time. So she wasn’t lying on insulting John or anything else.
She literally wasn’t there. She shouldn’t have to literally clarify to Internet morons who claim to understand films just like the GTA morons who were like, graphics get made first for a video game. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
How are you even considered a voice in this field when you literally don’t know how film is shot? But you’re a film expert. Because I like Godzilla. 2014. Maybe it was 2014. I don’t know. I don’t care. That movie was boring. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. Just because you like it doesn’t make you a cinephile or an expert on film. Goddamn.
